Silicone Scar Sheets Tape (1.6 x 120” / 3m Roll)

I have not been using the tape long enough to comment on the full results of using this tape, but so far, I'd say that it's promising, my scar is still very noticeable, but it's early days.. I had an operation a couple of months ago that left a rather big ugly scar and I was looking for a way to reduce it. This silicone tape sticks to the skin well, you forget you're wearing it.

I got this for my wife for her after C section care. She just started using it so I can't comment on results but the product itself doesn't seem to give any rashes is gentle on the skin, applies well and it removes without residues. Looking forward to see what the results are in a few weeks. and will come and update this review!

I place a sheet on my forehead and another sheet cut in half on my nasolabial folds lines. The work great and my skin feels nice and soft in the morning without the folds. Can also be reused with is also great.

Too early to tell what the result will be like.Positives: Instructions are simple to understand. Waterproof. Reusable, so good value for money, especially as this is a long roll. Easy to use. Leaflet provided with more detailed information, including who to report any issues to.Negatives: No evidence provided to support ‘#1 dermatologist recommended scar reduction treatment', so this could either refer to the use of silicone in general or this actual product. I'm confused about the manufacturer's credentials; it might be a ‘British brand UK based seller' but the product is made in China.It's too early to predict the results of this tape but I'm disappointed that the information provided lacks clarity, at best.

These scary sheets are easy to cut and apply.You cannot feel that you are wearing them.The roll is well secured with a bit of scar sheets.They lend into my skin well.Testing them on a scar overnight from a cut I did 4 weeks ago.

I've been using this silicone scar sheet tape for a while now, its been fantastic experience. The sheet is incredibly soft to the touch and on the skin, you literally forget it's there within minutes. It has just the right amount of adhesion - it's secure but not harsh like traditional plasters. I've used it once on my hairy leg, and I was concerned it might be as sore as waxing tape when removing, but it wasn't at all. It comes off smoothly without pulling the hairs, which is a huge plus compared to plasters that can be quite painful. I have 5 starred this still, though I do prefer the other brands which come in the shorter 75" roll, rather than the 120" as here. That is because I have found there is a very slight difference somehow in adhesion between this and my other brand. This variety seems perhaps a tad thinner, and I have noticed the edges are more likely to begin to curl up. That said, as this is so much more reasonably costed, there's a trade off on price, with needing to replace the tape more quickly if it doesn't stay perfectly adhering for as many days as the other.I note, also this suggests that proper healing and fading of the scar will take longer. 8 weeks with a recent scar versus 6 weeks for the other with a recent scar, 4-6 months with an old scar versus 2-4 months with the other.What definitely happens though is there is AS quick a slight change in redness and raised tissue on a recent scar (within days) as the other.I don't have any lurid old scars to test this with, only a small, recent superficial scar which I have been treating for around 2-3 weeks.What I will also say, though, is that I have found through my own 'let's experiment' that these silicon scar sheets have a dramatic and positive effect on NEW, immediate bruising, when the pain of the bash is absolutely present, and the inflammation is soft. I just had a kind of instinct, that because this is working on inflammation and hardened tissue, that maybe it would work (on unbroken skin) which is in the process of inflammation and fluid. And it does, also seeming to take away the throb of a new bruise.It doesn't seem to make any difference to the process of breaking down/colour changes in a bruise which has already become hard, which they do do fairly quickly. But its worth keeping this silicon scar sheet in your first aid box for the kind of home accidents where you accidentally bash yourself on furniture edges etc

This roll of very soft tape is for both old and new scars.There are very clear instructions on how many hours a day you can use it for, and you slowly increase the amount of time. After a few days you can eventually wear it 24 hours.When you're wearing the tape, you can hardly feel that you're wearing anything, it's really comfortable even in the heat. I have definitely seen an improvement in the scar (which is a new scar).I will come back to update when the scar is gone completely!
