Before You Start

• Use a standard household iron only
• Do NOT use steam
• Do NOT use hair straighteners or heat presses
• Garment must be clean and completely dry
• Best for cotton or cotton-blend denim

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Turn Off Steam

Empty the water reservoir if needed. Set iron to dry mode. Steam will weaken the adhesive bond.

Step 2: Pre-Heat Iron

Set iron to MAX heat or “Cotton/Linen” setting (approx. 180–200°C / 350–390°F).
Allow iron to fully heat before applying.

Step 3: Prepare the Garment

Lay garment flat on a hard, heat-resistant surface such as an ironing board or wooden table.
Smooth out wrinkles. Avoid soft surfaces like beds or sofas.

Step 4: Peel the Backing

Carefully remove the protective backing paper from the patch.
Do not touch the adhesive surface more than necessary.

Step 5: Position the Patch

Place patch shiny adhesive side down directly over the damaged area.
Ensure edges are flat and fully covering the tear.

Step 6: Apply Heat and Pressure

Place a thin cotton cloth or baking paper over the patch.
Press iron firmly down for 60 seconds.
Do not move the iron back and forth. Apply steady downward pressure.
Focus extra pressure on edges and corners.

Step 7: Flip and Reinforce

Turn garment inside out.
Iron the reverse side of the patched area for 30 seconds using firm pressure.

Step 8: Cool and Set

Allow garment to cool completely for at least 10 minutes.
For best results, wait 24 hours before washing or wearing heavily.

Step 9: If Edges Lift

If corners begin to peel, repeat heating process.
You may re-iron up to 3 times if needed.

Pro Tip: Inside Repair

For a nearly invisible repair:

• Apply patch to the inside of the garment
• Place baking paper between fabric layers to prevent accidental bonding
• Follow same heating instructions

This method works especially well for knee and inner-thigh repairs.

Additional Care Guidance

• Wash inside out
• Wash at or below 40°C
• Iron at high temperature
• Avoid tumble drying for maximum longevity
• Do not bleach
• Use any solvent except tetrachlorethylene

Safety Information

• Do not apply while wearing garment

• Iron is hot, risk of burns
