- Construction: Dual-layer design with 2-tier felt thickness for enhanced durability
Application
Simple 3-Step Process • 60 Seconds • No Tools Required
STEP 1: PREPARE THE AREA
- Clean the targeted area thoroughly. Use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol 70%+) on a clean cloth or cotton pad to wipe the heel or toe area.
- Remove all dirt, dust, oils, and residue
- Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding
- Before applying the big toe mesh protector patch, loosen the shoelaces to allow easier access inside the shoe
STEP 2: CHOOSE THE RIGHT PATCH
Select and prepare your patch:
- Smaller patches are recommended for big toe hole prevention
- Medium and larger patches are recommended for heel repair
If the patch is too large, trim to a custom size with scissors before removing the backing.
Carefully peel back the protective backing paper to expose the adhesive side.

STEP 3: APPLY THE PATCH
Align the patch with the target area inside the shoe and press down firmly from the centre outward to eliminate air bubbles.

To apply the big toe hole prevention patch:
- Place the patch inside the shoe over the target area with the adhesive layer facing upwards/towards the shoe mesh
- Press the patch against the shoe mesh from the inside while also pressing with the other hand from the outside to ensure a good bonding

Apply continuous firm pressure for 30 seconds. Use your thumb or fingers to press all edges and corners.
For maximum adhesion strength, allow 10 minutes before wearing shoes. The adhesive achieves full bond strength after 2 hours.
Tips & Best Practices
- Prevention is better than repair: Apply patches to new shoes before wear damage occurs for the longest lifespan.
- Surface preparation is critical: 90% of adhesion failures are due to improper surface cleaning. Always use rubbing alcohol.
- Apply pressure correctly: Use firm, continuous pressure for a minimum 30 seconds. More pressure = stronger bond.
- Allow cure time: Wait 5-10 minutes before wearing, or 2 hours for maximum bond strength.
- Store properly: Keep unused patches in original packaging, away from heat and moisture.
Troubleshooting Guide
-
Problem: Patch edges are lifting or peeling
Solution: Surface was not properly cleaned or dried. Remove patch, clean surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, allow to dry completely (2-3 minutes), and reapply a new patch with firm pressure for 30+ seconds.
-
Problem: Patch doesn't cover the entire damaged area
Solution: Use a larger patch size or apply multiple patches side-by-side. Patches can overlap slightly at edges for complete coverage of larger damaged areas.
-
Problem: Patch feels uncomfortable or causes rubbing
Solution: Patch may be too thick for your shoe type or positioned incorrectly. Try trimming the patch to a smaller size, or reposition it slightly away from pressure points. The patch material should soften after 2-3 wears.
-
Problem: Air bubbles trapped under patch
Solution: Carefully peel back the affected area (do not remove completely). Smooth outward from the centre while pressing firmly to eliminate bubbles. If patch adhesive is compromised, use a new patch.
-
Problem: Patch won't stick to shoe material
Solution: Some materials require extra preparation. For very smooth synthetic materials, lightly roughen the surface with fine sandpaper before cleaning. For waterproof materials, ensure complete dryness (4-5 minutes) after alcohol cleaning.
Care & Maintenance
- Clean patches gently with damp cloth as needed - avoid harsh chemicals
- Avoid machine washing shoes with patches applied
- Allow shoes to air dry completely if they get wet
- Inspect patches monthly and replace if edges show wear
Safety Information & Warnings
- Keep away from children under 3 years - choking hazard from small parts
- Avoid contact with eyes - if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
- Do not apply to wet shoes - allow complete drying before application
- Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources
